Great Nature Photography Locations Your back yard. No, really! Start there. You'll be amazed. Then, when you've got a taste for photographing the wonderful world around us, visit these amazing places: Gulf Coast - Most of the photographs on this site were taken in the Florida panhandle or Gulf Coast. This website, www.outdoorgulfcoast.com, provides excellent information on outdoor activities in the Gulf Coast area. And, if you're outdoors in the Gulf Coast, you'd better bring your camera because you're almost guaranteed some beautiful photographs! Virginia Tech Campus (Blacksburg, VA) - The most beautiful campus ever created. Ever. Not that I'm biased (Go Hokies!) The horticultural gardens and giant trees on the Drillfield alone make VT worth the visit. Late summer and autumn are prime time to get amazing shots of the blooming wildflowers and flaming autumn trees that bedeck this Applalachian mountain gem.
