Not just pretty, fiddleheads (the unfurled leaves of ferns) are tasty, too! Though it's better not to eat them raw, they can be cooked in all the same ways you might cook broccoli or asparagus. Fiddleheads are especially delicious with cheese, oriental cuisine, and - my personal favorite - Hollandaise sauce.
